The fruit flowers

There was a scientist (Mr. Iyer) who wanted to make his flowers grow fast,so he made a chemical to make them grow and to test he injected this chemical in those flowers.

But instead of growing fast, they stopped growing completely. Scientist was confused, so he tested the petals of the flower along with leaf, and found they are poisonous.
